“Content creation and keyword research considered most effective SEO tactics”

I love getting the Marketing Sherpa Chart of the Week. Always interesting, visually presented information. This week’s article has a chart showing the result of one of their latest surveys. You can read the full article at the following link, but we have the chart right here.

Marketing Research Chart: To improve SEO effectiveness, content is king

Marketing Sherpa surveyed 1,500 search marketers about the effectiveness of their top SEO tactics. They reported that “More than half of CMOs report that content creation is a very effective tactic to improve their SEO rankings. Keyword research was close behind, with 43% finding this strategy very effective.”

Why are these two things more important than any of the other “tricks” to drive traffic? Read more…

Rushing Thoughts and Voice Recognition Software

Many 18th c. treatments for psychological dist...

Image via Wikipedia

I was sitting in a restaurant as I first started writing this. I found it interesting to sit there and write. In general the noises around me formed a constant background noise, but occasionally some voice stood out from the rest and caught my attention. It was as if the cacophony of sound was periodically interrupted by a spot of clarity.

My purpose in sitting there writing was to sort my thoughts. But as I listened to this cacophony of sound, a question occurred to me. Is that how it is with my internal state? A constant cacophony of ideas enjoying their own processes and designs? Each competing with the other for attention? As I think about it, I realize that is exactly what happens. That is why I need to have times such as this to attempt to order those various thoughts.

This cacophony of ideas circulates randomly in my head, or so it seems to me. And yet when someone asks me a question, the needed information immediately surfaces and so that I can meet their need. So there must be some order in there that I’m not aware of. Read more…

One of My Favorite PLR Sources

When searching for PLR content to use, I found there were a lot of different types of sites available. Some offered monthly memberships and others offered just one time purchases. So be sure to look around before you decide where to buy.

You want to make sure that you get your PLR from someone with a strong reputation in the market. Gabor Olah is one of those. Check out IMReportCard.com (this link takes you directly to the review) to see what the public has to say about him. You’ll find that 14 people (maybe more now) have evaluated his PLRWholesaler site and the average over all rating is an A-. That’s one of the very top.

I’m a member of PLRWholesaler and I highly recommend it. Not only do they have an unbelievable amount of content, but it’s completely FREE. Read more…

Just What is PLR Anyway?

Simply put, PLR is a right that you obtain, usually by paying for it, to use a piece of content and sell it for 100% of the profit.

PLR stands for “Private Label Rights.” Many online marketers consider PLR to be their ultimate secret weapon in creating content fast and at minimum cost.

PLR comes with rights (permissions) to use the product yourself freely and sell it for 100% of the profit. Most people think of PLR as eBooks, but these same rights can be granted for any product, but they are mostly digital products, such as eBooks, reports, articles, software, audio and video. They may come with sales letters, e-Covers, matching website headers… basically everything you need to set up a website and sell the product yourself.

When you buy a piece of content with PLR generally you can… Read more…

Blind Writing – Part 2 – Tapping Into Your Creative Mind

Glad you could make it back. Now where was I?

Oh yes! I was going to tell you why I call it Blind Writing.

But that has to wait just a bit longer.

First, back to Klauser in Writing on Both Sides of the Brain: Breakthrough Techniques for People Who Write. She explains that to reach into the creative side of your mind you must first shut down the editor. To do this, she advises setting aside everything else and simply writing for 10 minutes. To keep your editor from kicking in and trying to change things, you need to force yourself to just keep writing. If you are using pen and paper, keep the pen on the paper and keep writing. If you are using the computer, keep typing no matter what.

Here’s where my term “Blind Writing” comes in. Read more…

Blind Writing – Part 1

“How can a blind person write!?” you ask.

Well, it’s not quite like that….. Hang on and I’ll explain.

Your subconscious mind holds massive amounts of information that you do not have ready access to. In fact, sometimes it seems that it is as if it purposely hiding from you. However, such is not really the case. It is simply that your brain is like a giant database continuously absorbing and retaining information for future use.

The sorting of these massive amounts of information takes place in your sleep. It is as if a little clerk goes to work in the middle of the night and grabs these bits and pieces of information you have absorbed during the day, sorts and then files them in the appropriate locations to be called upon at a later time. But this mini-clerk in your brain can only go to work when you hit a deep sleep. Read more…

Welcome!

Welcome to Enabled4Success.com.

I realized recently that with 20+ years of experience working virtually that I have information that I can share with those interested in doing the same. So, I started this blog.

Why Enabled4Success? I work virtually because of various disabilities I have which prevent me for being able to work in a public office. But, as my mother taught me, if life serves you lemons, make lemonade!

The result? What I initially perceived as “disabilities” have become the impetus behind leading me into work that I love. I feel that I have been “enabled” by these issues to look at life differently. Now while I may carry the label of being “a person with disabilities” for medical purposes, I see myself as “differently”-abled. Read more…
