Wading Into Wholesale

(NOTE: I wrote the following article because I had started into the program. However, I quickly determined it was too complex for an unreliable mind. Thankfully, they had a 3 month guarantee and readily gave a refund when I requested! As a caveat, you will need to be comfortable with importing from China. If not, this program isn’t for you.)

New Sales Highs in 2014

I attained $50K+ in Amazon sales. Between my husband and myself, we also had a very good year on Ebay. That was mostly him because I was busy with Amazon.

Over the course of the year, I started considering more and more about finding ways of being able to purchase my inventory in a manner where I could have higher sales volumes with less work. That means automating things. I’ll have to come back to that one as the year progresses.

Going Wholesale

One of the things that has captured my interest is wholesale.

A couple of years ago I tried DOBA, but quickly found out that with the number of other people who were using them, I couldn’t sell their items for enough on Ebay to make enough profit to make it worth the effort. For that reason, I do not recommend them.

After that I looked into Worldwide Brands. Just checking it out became so overwhelming, I didn’t give it a shot. In fact, between these two efforts, I shelved wholesale until now.

One of the cool things at that time, though, is that the founder of Worldwide Brands, Chris Malta, had a toll free number at that time where you could reach him directly. I gave it a try and sure enough, Chris answered the phone. We had a great conversation over a variety of subjects. He was extremely helpful. The main thing I came away with was that at that point, I wasn’t financially able to step into that world.

What Changed?

Jordan Malik - Honest Online Selling

Jordan Malik – Honest Online Selling

Yesterday morning I received an email from Jordan Malik of Honest Online Selling. Jordan is on my very short list of people I completely trust in online selling. He tells the straight scoop.

Jordan’s message yesterday told of a webinar with Startup Bros that was going to start in a couple of hours.  I don’t always check out Jordan’s messages due to time constraints, but I was sure glad I did yesterday. I promptly signed up for the webinar and I feel I’ll soon be able to say, “The rest is history.”

History Yet To Be Made

My goal is to be making history in wholesaling from this point forward.

Startup Bros

Startup Bros

The webinar itself was so valuable I probably could have moved forward on my own. The tools and knowledge provided was amazing! If you are even remotely interested in wholesaling and you have the opportunity to watch one of these webinars, I highly recommend that you do so. I have no idea when they’ll do another one, but I just spotted a link on the Startup Bros front page where you can register.

What Did I Do?

Initially I hadn’t expected all that much from the webinar, but I was quickly shocked at the value presented. As usual, I had a Word doc opened and kept taking screen shots of the info and pasting it into my notes document. (If you don’t want to do that, just click the camera icon in the top left corner of the webinar window and it will save screenshots individually for you. If you want to use my method, hit Alt+PrtSc on your keyboard to take screen shots of the open window. Hitting PrtSc will give you a shot of your entire desktop at that moment.)

Boy, did I take a LOT of notes and screenshots! But by the time I got to the end, I was convinced that this seems to be the answer to my prayer of how to go into wholesale. Knowing that they provide a 30-day guarantee (and Jordan had included a 365-day guarantee!), I decided I had nothing to lose for trying.

Starting Now

The actual coaching classes don’t start until April 21, but I have access to an entire virtual library of information to access between now and then.

Plus there is a private forum and a private Facebook group. The first thing they ask for in there is a brief profile. I started to include the link to this website, but then thought it would be embarrassing to point them here without having at least updated it first. Thus, this post. Now that it’s done, I can get back to putting in my intro posts on each.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask me below. I’ll do my best to help you out.

Blessings!
